Fall:   Fall offer more adventure in Chelan.
  • September is often the nicest month for weather in Chelan.  It is a great time to come to Chelan for a golf get-away with wine tasting and fresh fall fruit to coplement your trip.
  • Halloween in Chelan?  Downtown Chelan is a wonderful place for Halloween.  All the shops give out candy and people come from all of North Central Washington for the festivities and a safe place for trick or treating.
  • Thanksgiving in Chelan.   Great food, fresh apples, big kitchen, warm fire….  The Union Valley Lodge is a great place for a Thanksgiving week get-away and family gathering.

    Christmas Holidays in Chelan     The views of the mountains and lake from the Union Valley Lodge in the snow are stupendous.  We’ll put out Christmas decorations. (And of course we plow the drive for you… though 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended.) 
  • Skiing:  Echo Valley Ski Resort offers tubing, a small ski hill and outstanding nordic/cross-country skiing. They've even added skate skiing trails.  Chelan is also only an hour drive from Mission Ridge Ski resort which offers a great downhill skking and snow-boarding venue with much smaller lines that you get at the ski resorts closer to Seattle.
